According to the Bangladesh Hajj Management Portal, three more Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have crossed the Mecca in Saudi Arabia in the last three days.
Fatema Begum (60), Rafiqul Islam (48) of Sirajganj and Md. Abdul Gafur Mia (62) of Tangail.
Fatema and Rafiqul died in Mecca on Thursday and Gafur on Tuesday, according to the Hajj Management Portal.
The cause of their deaths could not be immediately determined, the management portal said.
Nine Bangladeshi pilgrims, including three women, died in Saudi Arabia on June 11-30 this year.
This year’s Hajj will start on July 8 and 60,256 Bangladeshis will be able to perform Hajj.
