As of Tuesday, at least 33 people had been killed in road accidents across Bangladesh in the past four days. The accident took place in Tangail, Naogaon, Dhaka, Barisal, Kurna, Manikganj, Natore, Brahmanbaria, Chuadanga, Noakari, Panchagal, Bogra, Gazipur, Chittagong and Narayanganj districts.
There were 6 deaths in Tangal, 6 in Chittagong, 3 in Gazipur and Noakari, 2 in Barisal, Khulna and Chuadanga, 2 in Naogaon, Dhaka, Manikganj, Natore, Brahmanbaria, Panchagal and Bogra respectively. One died. And Narayanganj.
Mozammel Haque Chowdhury, secretary general of the Bangladesh Passengers Welfare Association, told the Daily Sun that he usually counts road accidents 14 days before and after each oath.
