SAN PEDRO, CA – At least seven people were injured after a shooting at a Los Angeles park where a car show was being held on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the shooting happened around 3:50 p.m. It is located in Peck Park in the San Pedro district of LA. The LAPD tweeted that it was not an active shooter situation, but did not provide any further information.
The LA Fire Department said the incident happened at or near a car show, leaving at least three people with gunshot wounds and two in critical condition. The fire department said a total of seven people were injured and taken to hospital.
Peck Park is located approximately 20 miles (32.19 km) south of downtown Los Angeles.
