The Saudi swimming crew closed their interest in the GCC Games in Kuwait with a count of one gold, two silver and two bronze decorations.
On Friday night Ali Al-Issa took the bronze award in the 200m backstroke with a period of 2.11.82, having previously won the gold in the 100m backstroke.
Somewhere else the Saudi men’s b-ball group crushed Qatar 53-44 in a match they overwhelmed and will take on Bahrain on Sunday.
In the kickoff of the volleyball rivalry, the Saudi men’s group lost their most memorable match against Bahrain by three sets to one set (25-20, 13-25, 23-25, 13-25).
The Saudi men’s futsal group lost their third match of the competition 5-2 against the UAE, having dominated their most memorable match and lost their second. The Saudi objectives came from Moaz Asiri and Fahad Al-Rudaini.
In the men’s cycling Saudi completed fourth in the group time preliminary with a period of 53.00.31 over a distance of 40km, which occurred on Sheik Jaber Al-Sabah Bridge.
