DUBAI – Heavy rains in Iran’s southern province of Fars Flash floods have caused at least 22 deaths, and one missing.
Khalil Abdullahi, the head of the province’s crisis management department, reported this Saturday (July 23), citing a provincial official and the semi-official news agency Tasnim.
He said, 55 people were rescued after 15 vehicles were submerged in the flood.
Governor Firth declared Sunday a day of mourning, state media reported.
