Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday reiterated that she returned home with only a goal to bring smiles on the faces of the country’s people.
“I returned home to bring smiles on the people’s faces, because, it was my father’s (Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman) dream,” she said.
The chief offered this comment while talking at the gathering of National Economic Council (NEC) at NEC hall in city’s Sher-E-Banglanagar agreeing with her home coming day.
She joined the capacity basically from her authority home Ganabhaban in the capital.
Reviewing the day of her return from constrained exile on May 17, 1981, Sheik Hasina said, “When I arrived at the air terminal, I didn’t get anybody of my closest ones (family members) however got love of millions of individuals, and that was my main strength and I’ve pushed forward with this strength.”
She likewise referenced her visit to each thump and corner the nation over confronting obstructions in the wake of getting back.
She said, “I have certainty, love and trust of individuals of Bangladesh.”
