Four months later, the fourth wave of the Kovid epidemic is now knocking on the country’s door. “Every day the rate of coronavirus infection exceeds 10% today. Of course, we are entering the fourth wave of coronavirus infections,” said Prof. Dr. Ahmedul Kabir, Additional Chief General (Administrator) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

He warned that if people were reluctant to follow the rules of well-being, the deadly infection would spread quickly.
Ahmedul Kabir added, “People should adhere to hygiene including wearing a mask, and get the corona vaccine as soon as possible.”

According to the DGHS, the nation is currently experiencing a sharp rise in corona infections. The rate of disease has been increasing day by day for seven days.

The growth rate in the previous week was 116.1 percent. A total of 2,212 cases were accounted for, but no deaths from corona infection were reported at the time.

“There is no alternative to adhering to the rules of well-being and wearing a mask should be mandatory,” said Dr Alamgir, chief logical officer at the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease. Control and Research (IEDCR).

After receiving some information about the infection, the virologist said that the Omicron variety of Kovid is now ruling the country. “In the absence of compliance with the rules of human well-being, infectious diseases can be extreme for people who have not been vaccinated and are at risk,” he added.

In a conversation with media personnel, Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, a member of the National Technical Advisory Committee of Covid-19, stressed the need for vaccination to maintain healthy guanine and fight infection.

“Currently, specialists should study to find an explanation for this sudden outbreak of coronary heart disease. What’s more, appropriate action should be taken,” said a prominent virologist.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek warned late that the death toll could rise if coronary heart disease spreads.

He also called on individuals to adhere to the rules of well-being and take antibodies.
