Bangladesh starter Riton Das will be out of the field for at least three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The injury not only ruled him out of the ODI series against Zimbabwe, but also threatened his hopes of playing in the Asia Cup.
Litton retired from the first ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare on Friday. “A scan of the injured right hamstring confirmed a grade 2 muscle strain,” said Mujadded Alfa Sani, a physical therapist from Bangladesh.
It takes 4 weeks. He will be further evaluated in the coming days and placed on a rehabilitation plan. He will be placed after further evaluation.
