‘Moshari’ wins Atlanta Film Festival Jury Award

Youthful Bangladeshi producer Nuhash Humayun’s shock short film ‘Moshari’ won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at the Atlanta Film Festival (ALTFF) 2022, one of a handful of the Academy Award-qualifying celebrations on the planet.

The news was affirmed by Nuhash himself on his confirmed Facebook page on Thursday night.

“MOSHARI is presently OSCAR QUALIFYING! Our Bangladeshi blood and gore movie just won the Atlanta Film Festival Jury Prize for Best Narrative Short, an Oscar Qualifying Award. ‘Moshari’ had its reality debut at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival back in March this year. The 22-minute film stars ‘No Dorai’- renowned entertainer Sunerah Binte Kamal and Nuhash’s niece Nairah Onora Saif.
