Breen filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” the Journal said, citing records filed in Santa Clara County Superior Court. Reuters could not independently determine whether divorce papers had been filed.
Musk’s tweet came after a Wall Street Journal report that an unidentified source had easily gotten away with Shanahan. According to the newspaper, the incident ended Brin’s long friendship with the tech billionaire, with Shanahan filing for divorce earlier this year.

Reuters could not immediately reach Breen or Shanahan for comment. Breen’s lawyer declined to comment to the WSJ, and Shanahan did not respond to the newspaper’s request for comment.
