Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina thanked his compatriots for standing by her side in the construction of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge, saying that the construction has all the credit to the people of Bangladesh. She said

Sheikh Hasina stated that the construction of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge, which opened on June 25, is a major milestone in changing the fate of the people of Bangladesh.
“So I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart,” she added. She also stated that the construction of the Padma Bridge is a history here.
