State leader Sheik Hasina has asked architects to assume more compelling part in developing frameworks reasonable to adapt to antagonistic effects of environmental change.
“Engineers should assume more viable part in building frameworks lenient to environmental change and its unfavorable effects, and guaranteeing food and energy security,” she said in a message gave today on the event of the 74th establishing commemoration of the Engineers Institution, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Engineers’ Day.
Welcoming every one of the designers on the event, the top state leader said the job of specialists is vital in the country’s general turn of events.
The mechanical and designing advancement is the way in to the improvement of a country, she said, adding that prompt after the freedom of the country, the architects played had a huge influence in reproducing war-attacked Bangladesh under the initiative of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman.
Sheik Hasina said the designers are putting the nation forward through specialized and designing advancement.
In continuation of the Awami League government starting around 2009, she said, it has been carrying out numerous super tasks including Padma Bridge, metrorail, raised interstate, Karnaphuli burrow, LNG terminal, Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant and 100 exceptional zones separated from the advancement of street, rail and
stream correspondence.

Reviewing the public authority’s steady help for the designers, she said the AL government generally stays adjacent to them.
During its 1996-2001 time, the AL government allotted 10 bighas of land for development of IEB working, while it gave an aggregate of Taka 46 crore for the IEB building, Sheik Hasina said.
She said on the event of Mujib Year and the 50 years of the autonomy, Bangladesh graduated to a non-industrial nation from a most un-created one, while the architects had a huge commitment to this end.
Sheik Hasina trusted that the architects ought to assume a main part in building a prosperous and created Sonar Bangla, imagined by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman, by 2041.
