State head Sheik Hasina alongside her more youthful sister Sheik Rehana on Wednesdat offered petitions at the graves of the martyred relatives of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman at Banani in the city.
“The state head and her more youthful sister offered fateha and munajat at the graves of their relatives, who were ruthlessly killed on August 15, 1975 alongside Bangabandhu, in city’s Banani for timeless tranquility of the left spirits earlier today,” PM’s Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas told BSS.
They additionally spread flower petals on their graves around then, he said.
