Dhaka, May 17: Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen on Tuesday said a lot of Rohingyas are coming to Bangladesh from India through wall regions lately which he considers to be a question of stress.
“Sadly, numerous Rohingyas are coming to Bangladesh from India,” he told columnists, adding that those Rohingyas went to India in 2012.
Momen said the Rohingyas who are coming following nine years have heard that they will have great food offices in Cox’s Bazar.
He said their family members in Cox’s Bazar evidently passed on to the Rohingyas in India that they are living joyfully in Cox’s Bazar with great food supply. “Accordingly, they (Rohingyas) are getting into Bangladesh in gatherings.”
The Foreign Minister said the awful news is that they are coming through wall regions through intermediaries at the two closures of the Bangladesh-India line.
He said as of late a sum of 18 Rohingyas have been confined and they are coming in gatherings. “We need to connect greater security powers to stop them.”
Answering an inquiry, Momen said the public authority isn’t just looking for help from the Chinese government yet in addition from different nations including the USA, Japan, Malaysia and Cambodia.
He said the Rohingyas ought to return to Myanmar as they are Myanmar residents. “They don’t go there yet come here.”
