Sonali Bendre said that she got lost in the 90s when the film industry was under the influence of the underworld. She revealed that her husband Goldie Behl helped her understand film producers.
Sonali made her Bollywood debut in 1994. He is only 19 years old. Before directing his most memorable film, he had previously appeared on several TV plugs and promotions. Part of his best work in the 90s was Sarfarosh, Diljale and Major Saab. He made his OTT debut with The Broken News of late.
While pursuing her rebound project, Sonali appeared on The Ranbir’s show Digital Recordings and revealed that she was deprived of a role due to pressure from the underworld.
He said, “There was a lot of clean source film funding. Still, there wasn’t a legitimate, formal industry status. That way, a lot of unregulated money is coming in, and the banks won’t give you that. By the way, the breaking point was there.”
