There are 1,477 elementary schools in the area and 400 schools were impacted till Wednesday. Goainghat, Kanaighat, Jointapur, Jakiganj and Companiganj upazilas are the most obviously awful hit.
Region schooling official Shakhawat Ershad expected that new regions in the locale could be overflowed soon because of the ascent in water levels of the relative multitude of waterways in the area.
