At least 22 people, including nine members of a family, have been killed when a passenger van plunged into a deep ravine in southwest Pakistan, officials said on Wednesday.
The mishap happened because of extreme speed on the Quetta-Jhab expressway in Qila Saifullah area, 200 kilometers (120 miles) from Quetta in Balochistan territory, albeit the specific reason for the mishap was not promptly known.
authorities said. “Ladies and kids are among the individuals who passed on the spot,” Hafiz Qasim, locale Commissioner of Killa Saifullah told Reuters.
