LONDON – British police said on Thursday they had finished their examination concerning COVID-19 lockdown parties held at Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Downing Street office, saying they had given a sum of 126 fines.
“Our examination was careful and fair and was finished as fast as possible, given how much data that should have been evaluated and the significance of guaranteeing that we had solid proof for each FPN (fixed punishment notice) reference,” London Police Acting Deputy Commissioner Helen Ball said.
“This examination is currently finished.”
