TE24 Entertainment Desk:
Following the 2016 Rogue One: Star Wars saga, Disney + is reviving the film with Andor, the next collection of rebel spies, Cassian Ando. In fact, Diego Luna returns to this fan-favorite segment, portraying a character Disney created as a spy thriller five years before Rogue One’s solo event.
One of the new shows premiered in August this year, after which Cassian’s journey to the rebel leader left a satisfied audience in Rogue One. Need a review of what’s going on in the movie and how Luna’s character fits into it? This is an introduction to Cassian Andor to jog your memory.
Who is Cassian Andor?
The Star Wars website describes Cassian as follows: Star Wars Encyclopedia Born on Planet Fest, he joins the Rebel Mobile and fights as a child soldier through the Clone Wars. His father was killed during protests and his mother died when he was young. Little is known about his daily life before joining the rebels.
Rogue is Just One’s Cassian Andar
Released in 2016, Rogue One is the first part of A New Hope, the first part of the 1977 Star Wars film. In Rogue One, Cassian is an intelligence officer who has worked with the Rebels, believing he is 60 years old. In the film, he turns to rebel Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) and is tasked with killing his father, Garen, the engineer who operates the Demise Star.
Although the scientists died during the bombardment, Cassian ultimately decided not to expel Garen. The rebel captain and Jean decide to trick the Imperial ship (called Rogue A Person) into looting the Death Star database. They get a blueprint for the dead star and relay that information back to the Rebels.
Despite the victory, the movie’s ending is pretty dark: Grand Moff Tarkin’s explosion kills the pair and some of the rebels supporting them. But in the end, the plan comes to Princess Leia and gives the rebels new hope.
Cassian Andor of “Andor”.
Maybe at a Star Wars celebration in May, Luna said that a variation of the “Andor” Cassian pendant would satisfy the “rather selfish.” Now he takes Cassian from a commoner to a rebel leader who helps unite and inspire the rebellion.
The first period of Andor spans only one year, and the second period obscures the remaining 40 years from the launch of Rogue One. We still don’t know what will happen in the meantime.
A problem we know about Andor? Cassian would accomplish this throughout both seasons. “The beauty of this show is that they have no way of killing me,” Luna joked back in May.
